- Remuneration: $165,273 to $190,593 pa (LEVC) (inclusive of $139,657 to $161,054 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
- Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Senior Lecturer in Nursing to join School of Nursing, Faculty of Health.
As a Senior Lecturer (Level C), you will play a crucial role in delivering cutting-edge nursing courses designed to prepare our graduates for the evolving healthcare landscape. Your contributions will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious, future-focused agenda through creative innovation in learning and teaching, impactful research, and the effective integration of technology to achieve excellence in education and research outcomes. We are looking for academics who are excited about leading education and research through innovation. As a Senior Lecturer, you will empower nursing students with the skills needed to meet the current and future needs of the community.

What you need to succeed
- Completion of a doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline area or equivalent accreditation or standing and current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority plus additional certification required for ongoing clinical practice or clinical supervision (Blue Card, CPR, first aid, and full vaccination including an approved COVID19 vaccine).
- Demonstrated experience in providing leadership in an administrative role in a University or professional setting and record of successful interaction within these settings.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching effectively including the ability to develop scholarly and learning and to supervise postgraduate students.
- Demonstrated research leadership and/or independent contribution to research/scholarship evidenced by publications and/or success in attracting research support.
- Demonstrated experience in mental health nursing practice and education, cultural safety, and/or experience in practice and education related to another clinical specialty.
- Demonstrated ability to develop networks and to liaise at a high level with members of external organisations.
