Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a HSE Partner to join Health, Safety and Environment, People Services, Administrative Division.

The Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Partner is responsible for supporting all operational HSE functions and programs for specific organisational areas within the QUT community, relating to the implementation of work health and safety and environment legislation, policy, systems and programs. The HSE Partner provides guidance, quality advice, and technical and project support on a range of HSE matters. This includes first aid, training, plant, electrical, and other risk management and compliance requirements. In addition the position provides operational support, coaching and guidance to allocated local areas.

1. Education, training and/or experience equivalent to a degree in HSE or related discipline, with subsequent experience in a health and safety or environment role within a large organisation.
2. Sound knowledge and demonstrated experience in applying and implementing HSE practices, particularly in risk management, HSE management systems, and in the interpretation and application of relevant legislation, standards and guidelines.
3. Demonstrated experience in developing procedures and in conducting audits related to general HSE hazards.
4. Demonstrated high level effective interpersonal, presentation and consultation skills along with an ability to manage complex, emotional, or controversial issues. 
5. Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret data and produce clear reports with recommendations to senior staff.
6. A record of working effectively in a team environment as well as engaging and collaborating with related service areas.

We are seeking an Operations Manager to join Research Infrastructure, Research Portfolio, Academic Division.

The Operations Manager provides leadership and management of all operations at QUT's Banyo Pilot Plant Precinct, a multi-domain precinct comprising three warehouse buildings, with specialised laboratories, workshops and enabling engineering infrastructure. The Precinct is suited to enable pilot scale research activities across a wide range of research domains, with projects conducted on an activity-based schedule allowing for flexibility and redeployment of space as research priorities evolve and mature. We are seeking a Associate Professor/Professor in Paramedicine to join School of Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Health.

We invite applications for an influential Associate Professor / Professor with a national or international reputation for excellence in paramedicine education, research, and leadership. The position will provide exceptional leadership, mentorship, and support across learning and teaching, research and research training, and engagement activities to enhance academic outcomes for the School of Clinical Sciences. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of evidence-based teaching in undergraduate courses, a high level of understanding of contemporary paramedicine practice, and a track record in research and supervision leading to quality student outcomes.

We are seeking a Senior Engineer, Cloud (2 positions available) to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division.

The Senior Engineer, Cloud will manage highly scalable, elastic and resilient cloud architectures that simultaneously address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of cloud services. The role helps QUT business understand best practices around advanced cloud solutions and platforms and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. The role will collaborate with the architecture team and other IT Professionals to shape and execute a strategy to build support for and broad use of cloud services where appropriate.
