- Term: Ongoing, full-time basis
- Remuneration: $120,443 to $131,749 pa (HEW7) (inclusive of $101,775 to $111,330 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
- Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Engineer, Software (Mobile) to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division.
The Engineer Software (Mobile) contributes to supporting the creation of new and/or improvement of existing applications, interfaces, and content that will support a collaborative, connected and engaging digital experience. The role will demonstrate competence in developing on various mobile platforms (iOS, Android and Flutter) and be able to develop using user-centred design approaches, with a focus on quality to ensure compliance with appropriate quality frameworks and industry standards. The role is part of a team that works across various digital platforms. The work undertaken by this team is critical to driving business efficiencies and ensuring that day-to-day IT client computing runs smoothly. The appointee may be required to be contactable and/or work outside of standard business hours on occasion. These instances will be treated in accordance with the relevant provisions in the Enterprise Agreement for Professional Staff.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a degree with at least four (4) years of subsequent relevant experience in user experience design within an information technology area.
- Demonstrated DevOps experience in contributing as a technical expert within a team and implementing improvement strategies that support effective responses to client needs to achieve organisational goals.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving skills & software engineering skills with demonstrated experience in designing, developing, deploying and implementing solutions using various contemporary mobile technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain productive and collaborative working relationships, including the ability to develop and present concepts to negotiate with and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proven planning and organisational skills, with experience establishing own and workflow priorities and working across a diverse number of initiatives within tight and competing timelines.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing, automating, and testing corporate mobile applications and the use of industry standard testing platforms (eg. Firebase, Bitrise and Bitbucket), with a focus on improving user experience.
