- Term: Fixed-term, full-time basis for 12 months
- Remuneration: $137,608 to $163,427 pa (LEVB) (inclusive of $116,280 to $138,097 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
- Location: Kelvin Grove

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Clinical Lecturer to join School of Nursing, Faculty of Health.
The School of Nursing has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lecturer to join our team. The role of the Clinical Lecturer includes but is not limited to coordinating Clinical Practice Units, supporting clinical facilitators and other clinical staff working with students on placement, providing academic support for students both on campus and on placement, supervising students and facilitating clinical learning, and ensuring the quality of student learning experiences. The role will suit an applicant who is excited by the opportunity to lead clinical education through innovative learning approaches, and provide students with skills that reflect the needs of the community now and into the future. The role requires the appointee to be effective in connecting and collaborating with industry, the community, consumers of health services, and primary health care providers to address disparities in health outcomes in the community.

What you need to succeed
- Completion of a Masters degree in a nursing or health care related field and current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). As well as additional certification required for ongoing clinical practice or clinical supervision (Blue Card, CPR, First Aid, and full vaccination including an approved COVID19 vaccine).
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary debates, issues, theories and trends relevant to clinical education in nursing.
- Proven track record of teaching, curriculum development, unit coordination and clinical education experience which promotes innovative and real-world learning.
- Strong organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to coordinate and supervise clinical placements, including the ability to continually improve learning activities.
- Demonstrated professional experience in connecting with external clinical partners to develop strong working relationships and enhance student experience.
- Demonstrated contributions to scholarly activities relating to clinical nursing education.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
