Responsibilities

The primary goal of this role is to create knowledge articles that support customers and enhance their experience with our Version 12 (V12) software. The Content Writer will excel in communication, translating technical software processes into clear, user-friendly documentation for Aurion. Additional responsibilities include:

·        Write, format, edit, review and proof knowledge article content for technical and non-technical users of the Aurion software to better understand and navigate the features of V12

·        Build and maintain an internal user guide to support our teams

·        Identify opportunities for continuous improvement for the delivery of existing and new content, ensuring that it is aligned with our core purpose to make life work better for our customers and team

·        Prepare, review and maintain knowledge articles written for V12, keeping up-to-date with the latest enhancements and releases, ensuring that our customers have the most relevant and helpful information and guidance available

Skills and experience

We are looking for a highly motivated team member who thrives in a dynamic environment, while demonstrating the following experience and qualities:

·        Prior experience with the development of written learning content in the role of Content Writer, eLearning Developer, Technical Writer or similar

·        Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to create documentation for audiences with varying levels of technical skills and knowledge

·        Proven ability to quickly learn and understand technical material with a proactive approach to developing our online knowledge articles, support processes and content required to enhance these resources

·        Independently motivated with a proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment as required, and use hybrid work communication technologies

About the role

Reporting directly to the General Manager Finance & Operations, this position leads, advises on, maintains, and reports on SRA’s enterprise-wide audit, risk management, and business continuity frameworks. The position works closely with the Senior Management Team, the CEO and Chair of SRA’s Audit and Risk Committee, and broader management cohort to oversee the delivery of internal audits and risk management activities, including leadership of SRA’s quality assurance functions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Participate as an effective member of the Finance & Operations management team to deliver on SRA’s strategic and financial objectives whilst building strong alignment, employee engagement, team ownership and accountability, across SRA and within the business unit.
• Manage key relationships with external Auditors and relevant stakeholders.
• Lead the development and maintenance of the SRA’s risk management framework to ensure that risk is minimised, mitigated, or encouraged, in line with the company’s risk appetite, across all business units.
• Provide advice and undertake regular reviews with risk owners to ensure the effectiveness (and documentation) of internal controls, and that management response across SRA’s risk management framework is appropriate and timely.
• Provide direction and support in relation to the administration, identification, measurement, control and review of strategic, operational, intellectual property and ICT risk registers, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose and integrated as part of day-to-day operations and strategies.
• Develop comprehensive audit plans, outlining the scope, objectives, and methodologies for each audit.
• Manage the quarterly review and reporting of SRA’s risk registers, including Senior Management Team engagement in relation to preparation of quarterly risk updates for the Audit and Risk Committee and the Board.
• Work with the Company Secretary to conduct annual reviews of SRA’s delegations to ensure they remain consistent with SRA’s internal control environment. Oversight of SRA’s Delegations’ documentation.
• Develop and provide training to employees on risk related matters and work with the senior management team to foster a culture of appropriate risk taking across SRA.
• Actively engage with regulators and Government stakeholders and operationalise regulatory requirements.
• To implement the Health, Safety and Environmental strategies, actions, & responsibilities which lead to attaining our desired HSE culture that is commensurate with the position.

About you

You will bring with you the following qualifications, capabilities and experience:

Essential

• At least three years’ experience in a Risk role, preferably with hands-on experience.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a business partnering capacity whilst maintaining essential independence.
• Demonstrated track record of influencing stakeholders from different backgrounds to drive risk-aware business outcomes.
• Significant experience in managing business continuity functions.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills with demonstrated experience preparing and presenting risk reports to an executive and/ board.
• Demonstrated ability to develop a QA framework that enables business agility.
• A current manual driver’s licence is required to drive SRA vehicles.
• Tertiary qualification in risk or governance related discipline or significant applied experience as a risk management professional.

Desirable

• Working knowledge of cyber risk, intellectual property risk, and workplace health and safety risks.
• Graduate qualifications in risk management, compliance, or governance.

About the role

Responsible for the oversight of the Financial Management & Reporting Team, managing the end-to-end delivery of financial accounting information, payroll and transactional services.

The position also has oversight of the Management Accounting team responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and presentation of financial and management information used in planning, decision making, control of SRA budget and forecasting and reporting to stakeholders.

The Senior Finance manager is responsible for the provision of expert advice to SRA on all financial and management accounting information and reporting matters including planning of the organisation’s resources, providing information for decision making and ensuring that internal controls align with requirements of the SRA Board and its Committees.

The position works closely with the General Manager, Finance and Operations, and other key leaders within SRA. The role also liaises with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead and mentor the Finance team fostering a culture of superior customer service delivery, professionalism, teamwork and accountability.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the finance team and wider business during a period of technology upgrades including a new ERP system.

• Lead business partnering initiatives with the team working cross functionally with various business units, to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives acting as a trusted advisor.
• Scan and monitor potential developments that may impact SRA, exercising a strategic perspective to evaluate likely impacts and recommend the appropriate course of pre-emptive or post-event responses from a financial perspective.
• Provide leadership and direction in the development/updating and implementation of policies and procedures to support system changes and best practice.
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives within the finance function and across SRA’s business operations, to reduce financial risk and improve efficiency.
• Manage key relationships with auditors, taxation, payroll, insurance, fleet and financial systems support providers.
• Assist the GM Finance and Operations with any additional duties as required.
• Demonstrates commitment to fostering the continuous development of a safer, healthier and more sustainable workplace at SRA, in a way that would be expected for this position.
• Identify and act on the training needs of yourself and those within your team to foster an environment of continuous learning within SRA.

Technical expertise:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in digital security compliance or in a related area and must have worked on at least one full SAP implementation project as a SAP Security Consultant or Compliance Analyst.

Qualifications and certifications:

About the Role

We are seeking multiple positions. Roles are available for developers with skills in Applied AI, Front-end Web application and API development, or Full Stack enterprise platform development. Remuneration will be commensurate with skills and experience.

These roles will be responsible for technical delivery for designing, building, and maintaining optimised and highly available data infrastructure, pipelines, and workflows that facilitate data management, data analytics, and modelling solutions. These roles plan, design, develop, deploy, and administer frameworks and architectural approaches that scale to handle user demands. 

These are hands-on roles which requires technical expertise to deliver data and analytical services including data ingestion, transformation, storage, dashboarding, and model execution. The roles strive to continuously develop new and improved data engineering and operations capabilities.

Successful applicants may exclusively support major projects or programs such as EcoCommons Australia or WildObs. 

Key responsibilities

• Scope, analyse, design, develop, test, deploy, document, and support software solutions (e.g. scripts, programs, workflows or RESTful web services) to broad specifications under broad supervision, providing technical leadership to junior team members as required.
• Identify, install, modify, optimise and integrate applications, middleware, user interfaces and other software under broad supervision, providing technical leadership to junior team members as required.
• Identify a need for, design, develop, deploy and maintain infrastructure to increase data and model findability, accessibility, interoperability and reusability under broad supervision, providing technical leadership to junior team members as required.
• Identify a need for, architect, deploy and configure software stacks for data ETL, management and analytics and execution of models to broad specification under broad supervision, providing technical leadership to junior team members as required.
• Write unit/integration tests, plan and conduct system/user acceptance testing, produce comprehensive test plans, and contribute to engineering documentation and tools under broad supervision, providing technical leadership to junior team members as required.
• Identify a need for, evaluate and implement processes and systems for data lineage, integration and quality and tools to support increases in data volume and complexity under broad supervision, providing technical leadership to junior team members as required.
• Design, develop, deploy and maintain scalable OpenStack cloud-based solutions, analytical tools, programs, and interfaces to broad specifications under broad supervision, providing technical leadership to junior team members as required.
• Resolve harder problems, issues, and bug fixes within the agreed timeframes, taking shared ownership of easier problems, issues and bug fixes under broad supervision, providing technical leadership to junior team members as required.
• Report on progress against project tasks and milestones through regular meetings and updates as well as more detailed analysis and written reports for stakeholders, project managers, team leads, and senior management.
• Develop and deliver training programs under broad supervision, providing technical leadership to junior team members as required.

About you

Essential qualifications and experience

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of at least 10 years relevant experience and/or education/training. 
• Practical skills in software engineering and scripting languages (Python, R, Javascript, Powershell, Perl, shell, etc.) including desktop and web-based platform development. 
• Practical skills and experience in design, delivery, and operation of complex systems and platforms.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD technologies and approaches.
• Experience with Agile development and management methodologies.
• Practical skills in designing and implementing ETL systems.
• Ability to prioritise own workload, work independently and meet deadlines. 

Desirable qualifications and experience

• Knowledge and experience in the use and management of Linux systems in a Cloud environment.
• Knowledge and experience in the use and management of Windows systems in a Cloud environment.
• Knowledge and experience in project management.
• Experience in advising researchers on the appropriate data science strategies.
• Experience in working with relational and non-relational databases and the design of data models; improving system operations, delivery and management of large datasets, data integrity and quality.
• Skills and experience in cybersecurity.
• Experience with front end frameworks such as ReactJS, Flutter, or other modern frameworks.
• Experience in developing service APIs.
• Experience with Kubernetes/Containerisation.
• Experience with DevOps / DevSecOps.

The position reports to Head of Data & Software Solutions. Successful applicants will receive priority and workplans from project/program leads.

What you’ll bring

In this role you will manage the Asset and Works Management Functional Services and enable the team’s success through the active delivery, support and guidance, and continuous optimisation of the team’s delivery framework. Ensuring that the technology and solutions are appropriate and meet business requirements.

Specifically, we are looking for:

• Previous experience working in a leadership role in an SAP environment including demonstrated domain knowledge of SAP S/4 EAM.
• Experience with SAC analytics, Data Sphere and Enterprise Content Management are desirable. 
• Proven ability to lead functional staff in planning, troubleshooting, assessing risk and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Demonstrated experience of associated technologies in the EAM lifecycle and willing to support some of the other technologies used within EQL.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain contemporary management practices including performance management, change management, quality management, employment equity and workplace health and safety, and the ability to foster a customer service focus. 
• Demonstrated experience in taking ownership of deliverables, building exceptional working relationships and fostering teamwork within multi-disciplinary teams containing both internal and external resources to ensure that the EAPS Groups’ strategic initiatives are met, and operational targets are achieved. 
• Proven ability to manage continuous improvement initiatives logically based on business priorities, cost of delay and the capacity available to launch and execute new initiatives within the Foundation Services.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to building effective contractual arrangements that support the effective working relationship between internal and external service providers in the life cycle management of customer facing services.
• High level of interpersonal communications and negotiation skills in a complex and highly technical business environment, including the ability to consult and influence the decision-making process.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or business or equivalent qualification and/or demonstrated competence appropriate to the position.
• Core SAP experience of minimum 5+ years.
• Experienced in application of agile methodology and toolset.
