  • Remuneration: $158,080 to $165,606 pa (HEW9) (inclusive of $133,579 to $139,939 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
  • Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Principal Consultant, Change Management to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division.

The Principal Consultant, Change Management will play a pivotal role in leading and governing change initiatives across various Digital Transformation programs at QUT. The primary responsibility of the Principal Consultant, Change Management will be to establish and lead the Change Centre of Excellence, ensuring a consistent and effective approach to change management practices across QUT’s digital portfolios. Additionally, the role will work with project change managers to provide governance ensuring that all change activities align with organisational objectives and standards. In this dynamic role you may also be required to provide support for change activities related to the delivery of some initiatives where appropriate.

What you need to succeed

  1. Education, training, and or experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications in a relevant area, with extensive relevant experience executing change programs in complex environments.
  2. Demonstrated experience in designing and applying change management models and expertise in a timely way in order to achieve effective outcomes and manage change risks within a project that involves technology and process change in an enterprise context.
  3. Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills with the proven ability to build strong relationships, collaborate effectively, consult and liaise with multiple stakeholder groups at all levels.
  4. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive change management and communications plans as well as resources, tools and processes to support their implementation.
  5. Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the proven ability to articulate information and critical points clearly and concisely to a diverse stakeholder group.
  6. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training material using a variety of media.
