2. Experience in handling and working with deceased human bodies and body parts and/or be willing to be trained in these areas.
3. Demonstrated experience in similar and/or comparable laboratory environments (eg general anatomical laboratories, anatomy facilities and/or mortuaries, hospital operating rooms, etc.) with particular attention to the setup and pull down/post rehabilitation of a laboratory/surgical operating theatre.
4. Ability to meet the demanding manual handling requirements of the position.

At Level C, the candidate will have demonstrated experience in co-ordination and lecturing of tertiary level units.

The Paramedicine Discipline within the School of Clinical Sciences has an exciting opportunity for outstanding candidates for ongoing full-time Associate Lecturer and Lecturer positions. The position(s) includes but is not limited to the coordination of units, teaching, research, assisting clinical facilitators and other clinical staff working with students on placement, providing academic support for students both on campus and on placement, supervising students and facilitating clinical learning, and ensuring the quality of student learning experiences.

What you need to succeed

1. Completion of a higher degree in the relevant discipline area and a minimum of four years’ experience as a practicing Paramedic, or an equivalent combination of education/training.
2. Eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority as a Paramedic.
3. Demonstrated experience (or demonstrated willingness to acquire knowledge) in clinical teaching including the ability to embed future focused thinking in the development of scholarly and innovative approaches to teaching and learning in clinical settings.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary clinical education practices in paramedicine.
5. Experience engaging in paramedic and interdisciplinary health research with ability to undertake additional/further research.
6. Strong organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to coordinate activities, work to deadlines and supervise clinical placements.
7. Demonstrated connection and relationships within the paramedicine field to enable the development of strong working relationships and enhance the student experience.
8. Well-developed aptitude for teamwork and proven ability to work collaboratively.

The Senior Developer/Data Scientist will support the Digital Observatory team in ensuring the optimum operations of the Observatory, professional delivery of research services, elevated uptake of research infrastructure capabilities, and establishing systems and processes towards efficient and effective delivery of these capabilities. The Senior Developer/Data Scientist will apply specialist expertise to research and development activities across a broad range of projects within the Digital Observatory. The role requires expertise to develop, extend, maintain and support an existing ecosystem of research software and data infrastructure, and to develop new tools and platforms.
