The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at QUT has an exciting position for a Lecturer (Level B) / Senior Lecturer (Level C) in Water Engineering who is able to provide leadership in both research and teaching.

The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Water Engineering will be working as part of an interdisciplinary team of academics, research fellows, graduate students and industry partners. The role will require participation in fundamental and applied research, including fellowship submissions, grant funding submissions and publications.

This role will also contribute to teaching and innovation in teaching in the environmental engineering areas, such as water engineering, of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses, micro-credentials and professional courses.

We are seeking an exceptional interdisciplinary educator to join the School of Creative Arts as a Senior Lecturer. The successful candidate will possess recognised expertise in one of the School’s major disciplinary areas while demonstrating a strong capacity to collaborate across creative boundaries and contribute to interdisciplinary teaching and research initiatives. A proven track record of research success, evidenced through high-quality outputs and competitive funding success, will be essential. The School Administration Officer provides high quality administrative assistance across a broad range of duties that supports the academic work of the School of Creative Arts. The role supports the School as part of a three-person School Administration Support team, which includes the School Manager and School Executive Assistant.

The role is typically the primary contact for the School of Creative Arts and works closely with the other School Administration Officers, School Managers, School Executive Assistants, Heads of School, academics, the Student Specialist Support teams and other Faculty teams to deliver exceptional outcomes and service to internal and external stakeholders. The Engineer, AV Delivery works in a team delivering infrastructure, technology and AV solutions across the university. This role will work across the Digital Technology team and engage with the broader DBS group to deliver ongoing technology change to QUT, as part of the Digital Transformation program. This role is critical to ongoing delivery of long-running programs, and providing feedback to refine delivery processes, tooling and engagements.

The Technologist for Facilities and Infrastructure is a specialised technical role responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and operation of production signal distribution infrastructure, performative and production-based simulated environments, and associated technologies within creative, communications, and design arts teaching and research settings. This role ensures the effective operation of undergraduate teaching, research, facilities management, and compliance activities. As a highly agile and responsive role, the Technologist collaborates with the Technical Services leadership team to regularly assess and review the provision of facilities, equipment, and resource allocation to meet the evolving needs of the University's dynamic teaching environments. Working closely with other technical staff, the Technologist applies specialist expertise to provide an integrated and responsive support service, ensuring students benefit from a high-quality learning experience. We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in Bayesian Computation to join School of Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Science.

The Postdoctoral Fellow in Bayesian Computation will support the development of statistical methods based on Bayesian recalibration techniques using flexible transforms of surrogate models. These methods will be benchmarked on a variety of applications based on models with intractable likelihoods and computationally expensive stochastic simulators, such as large-scale agent-based models in biology, ecology, and epidemiology.
