The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at QUT has an exciting position for a Lecturer (Level B) / Senior Lecturer (Level C) in Water Engineering who is able to provide leadership in both research and teaching.

The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Water Engineering will be working as part of an interdisciplinary team of academics, research fellows, graduate students and industry partners. The role will require participation in fundamental and applied research, including fellowship submissions, grant funding submissions and publications.

This role will also contribute to teaching and innovation in teaching in the environmental engineering areas, such as water engineering, of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses, micro-credentials and professional courses.

We are seeking an exceptional interdisciplinary educator to join the School of Creative Arts as a Senior Lecturer. The successful candidate will possess recognised expertise in one of the School’s major disciplinary areas while demonstrating a strong capacity to collaborate across creative boundaries and contribute to interdisciplinary teaching and research initiatives. A proven track record of research success, evidenced through high-quality outputs and competitive funding success, will be essential. This role offers the opportunity to shape innovative curricula, build meaningful industry and community partnerships, and contribute to research that addresses complex cultural, social and technological challenges through creative inquiry.

The School Administration Officer provides high quality administrative assistance across a broad range of duties that supports the academic work of the School of Creative Arts. The role supports the School as part of a three-person School Administration Support team, which includes the School Manager and School Executive Assistant.

The role is typically the primary contact for the School of Creative Arts and works closely with the other School Administration Officers, School Managers, School Executive Assistants, Heads of School, academics, the Student Specialist Support teams and other Faculty teams to deliver exceptional outcomes and service to internal and external stakeholders. The School Administration Officer collaborates on and contributes to a range of activities within and across Schools.

• Remuneration: $122,852 to $134,385 pa (HEW7) (inclusive of $103,811 to $113,557 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Engineer, AV Delivery to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division.

The Engineer, AV Delivery works in a team delivering infrastructure, technology and AV solutions across the university. This role will work across the Digital Technology team and engage with the broader DBS group to deliver ongoing technology change to QUT, as part of the Digital Transformation program. This role is critical to ongoing delivery of long-running programs, and providing feedback to refine delivery processes, tooling and engagements.

1. Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of a degree in Information Technology, with subsequent relevant experience.
2. Demonstrated experience delivering technology and AV solutions in a complex environment.
3. Proven ability to integrate AV systems within enterprise IT and network environments.
4. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of risk management principles and secure operation of AV systems in enterprise environments.
5. Demonstrated success contributing as part of a team to AV projects, service improvement initiatives, and complex problem resolution to achieve organisational goals.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the demonstrated ability to maintain productive and collaborative working relationships, including the ability to develop and present concepts to, negotiate with and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
