Who We Are
STEM Punks is an award-winning education company at the forefront of STEM learning, innovation, and industry engagement. Our mission is to equip youth, educators, and industry with the skills and mindset needed for the future. We design and deliver hands-on learning experiences that blend creativity, problem-solving, and emerging technology across schools, industry, and communities.
With a hybrid working environment (60% in the field, 40% remote), our team operates within Australia and internationally, delivering programs that inspire curiosity and innovation.
The Role
As a Senior STEM Educator, you will lead the design and delivery of STEM programs, industry engagements, and strategic initiatives that foster innovation, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving. This is a flexible role that can be part-time or full-time, depending on your availability.
What You’ll Do
Design and deliver cutting-edge STEM programs for schools, educators, and industry partners. Lead strategic education initiatives, supporting sustainable STEM curriculum integration. Develop and strengthen industry partnerships, connecting education with real-world applications. Mentor and support educators, building their confidence in STEM tools and pedagogy. Work closely with marketing and operations teams to grow STEM Punks’ presence. Engage in national and international travel, delivering STEM programs and events.
What We’re Looking For
Proven STEM Education Expertise – You have experience teaching STEM subjects and engaging youth through innovative and hands-on learning.
Strategic Leadership & Project Management – You’re comfortable designing and leading high-impact education programs, from ideation to execution.
STEM Tools & Technical Proficiency – Ideally, you have experience with STEM tools like 3D design, coding platforms, electronics, robotics, and prototyping tools.
Graphic Design & Communication Skills – Proficiency in Canva or similar design platforms is highly desirable for creating educational resources and presentations.
Industry & Education Networks – You have existing connections in education and industry, leveraging them to foster partnerships and new opportunities.
Operational & Event Delivery Experience – You can manage logistics, timelines, and execution of STEM programs across different locations.
Flexibility & Willingness to Travel – This role offers variety—one week might be working remotely, the next leading a STEM innovation event across the country or overseas.
Self-Motivation & Adaptability – You thrive in a fast-moving environment, working both independently and collaboratively to drive results.
Why Join STEM Punks?
Meaningful Impact – Play a critical role in equipping youth and educators with future-ready skills.
Career Growth – Develop your leadership in STEM education, industry engagement, and strategic program development.
Collaboration & Flexibility – Work in a hybrid, dynamic, and supportive environment with a balance of autonomy and teamwork.
