The Role

In this pivotal role as a Sales Executive, you'll leverage your established sales experience to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closure, and drive enterprise and mid-market client acquisition. We have a strong marketing team which creates a constant stream of inbound leads helping you to win some exciting clients and take the sales team to the next level!

Role Responsibilities

• Identify and create new business opportunities to expand our national footprint
• Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities
• Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
• Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities
• Organise professional sales presentations/demonstrations of aXcelerate, including a summary of the prospect’s key requirements and pain points and tailored to suit their needs and branding
• Create competitive and engaging business proposals and pricing information
• Prepare tender processes and documentation to ensure a consistent, high-quality submission, including negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts
• Research and build a prospective client list and evaluate market entry opportunities for our key prospects
• Become a subject matter expert for our competing markets, monitor competitors' sales and services offering strategies to optimise market share, and identify emerging trends/threats within the market
• Track and record all sales activity in our CRM
• Attendance of conferences and events, including some interstate travel

Key Requirements

• Highly refined B2B solution selling skills, including demonstrated experience selling to and negotiating with ‘C’ suite
• Experience selling strategically to multiple stakeholders in medium to large organisations
• Track record of winning significant key enterprise accounts
• Strong commercial acumen
• Experience developing growth strategies and plans
• Demonstrable history in consistent attainment of targets and KPI’s
• Exceptional negotiation, influencing, presentation and communication skills
• Ability to create and develop business proposals, business case documents, contracts and other documentation
• Confidence in the ownership of the end-to-end sales process - from lead generation and outreach to deal negotiation and closing
• Experience in the SaaS or tech industry will be highly regarded

The role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll hit the ground running as part of our dynamic engineering team powering the aXcelerate platform. Your focus will be on building secure, high-quality software focusing on full stack software development while collaborating in an agile environment alongside juniors, seniors, and team leads. This is an opportunity to shape the systems and technology that underpin our product.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

💡Showcase & further develop your frontend skills(React) by helping uplift and modernise component driven front-ends, within existing applications

📚 Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers, supporting their professional growth.

🌐 Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and design teams to build high-impact solutions.

You’ll bring:

⚛️ Frontend expertise with React and TypeScript.

💻 5+ years’ full-stack development experience with proficiency across a range of technologies.

🔧 High proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows.

⚡ Proven experience resolving customer-facing issues effectively and efficiently.

📖 A collaborative and learning mindset seeking to improve teamwork and to stay current with new technologies.

🐳 Experience with containerisation and serverless technologies in AWS (desirable).

🛠️ Backend experience building APIs and serverless functions with Node.js (desirable).
