Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Radiation Therapy to join School of Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Health.

Ongoing full-time Lecturer / Senior Lecturer position in Radiation Therapy. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of evidence-based teaching in undergraduate radiation therapy courses, a high level of understanding of contemporary radiation therapy practice, and a track record in research and supervision leading to quality student outcomes.

The School of Clinical Sciences in the Faculty of Health is developing the future of clinical healthcare, from training the next generation of industry professionals to undertaking crucial research into key areas in the clinical sciences. The School of Clinical Sciences is composed of six distinct disciplines; medical radiation sciences, optometry, paramedicine, pharmacy, podiatry, and radiation therapy. What you need to succeed

1. Completion of a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline area, and current registration or eligibility to register with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.

2. Demonstrated excellence in, and high-level understanding of, the full scope of contemporary radiation therapy practice in Australia including treatment planning, CT-simulation and treatment.

3. Proven record of excellence in scholarly and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.

4. Record of high impact and high-quality research and translation of research outcomes into education and practice.

5. Demonstrated success at establishing and maintaining collaborations that extend best practices, implement leading solutions, and realise new opportunities.

We are seeking a Research Fellow to join School of Computer Science, Faculty of Science.

An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified and experienced candidate to join the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child in the Connected Child program with a focus on how children may develop digital media literacies in formal and informal settings, and children’s experiences of new technologies such as AI and gaming platforms. Considering the role industry and policy development plays in mediating these experiences is an important aspect of this opportunity. The Research Fellow will engage in research that sustains their outstanding research leadership and national and/or international reputation in the research area. As research focused academic, the incumbent is expected to work independently and as part of a research team, and demonstrate high level intellectual leadership, capacity to facilitate the development of other researchers, and collaboration toward or leadership of funding initiatives.

What you need to succeed

1. Completion of a PhD or other recognised doctoral qualification (or a recent submission) in a discipline aligned to the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child (see https://digitalchild.org.au/ for further details) with experience in a field relevant to videogames, other digital technologies, human–computer interaction, or psychology.
2. High-level written communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and constructively within a team environment and with a diverse range of stakeholders, including research colleagues, industry partners, and external collaborators. This includes the proven capacity to effectively communicate research outcomes to both academic and broader audiences, evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals, written reports, seminar and conference presentations, and engagement in public events and related activities.
3. Demonstrated ability to plan and conduct data analysis (quantitative and/or qualitative) and communicate results.
4. Demonstrated ability to conduct independent, original research, including designing, implementing, delivering, and reporting project outcomes within agreed timeframes and budgets. 
5. Proven organisational skills, including the ability to manage confidential research records and data, ethical protocols and processes and successfully manage workload to meet deadlines and within budget.
