We now have an exciting opportunity available for an OT Scada Project Engineer to join our Transformation & Technology team in Brisbane, Perth or Melbourne office on a permanent full-time basis.

Reporting to the OT Engineering Team Lead - SCADA and OT Cyber, you will play a key role to provide engineering design, development, implementation and support services for selected operational technologies in use at APA including ClearSCADA, OSI Pi, Synergee Pipeline.

The location for this role is flexible and hybrid; we will consider locations all over Australia and/or home office. We will also consider job share arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the delivery of OT programs of work to achieve business outcomes by providing technical design and consultancy services for the operational technology services offered by OT Engineering.
• Provide technical leadership to resolve conflicts in a way that benefits the program and accountable for day-to-day operations of resourcing, scheduling, prioritisation and task coordination on projects.
• Accountable for meeting project milestones, objectives and deliverables within agreed timeframes and budgets
• Provide expert guidance to OT project teams including mentoring, perform process improvement activities, contribute to standards and the production of automation tools to improve efficiency.
• Proactively develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and liaise with internal suppliers and customers to manage expectations and ensure that agreed outcomes are achieved.

Your background

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical & Electronics, Control System Engineering, Process or Chemical Engineering with Seven (Plus) years' experience in the design, construction, operation or maintenance of technology for power generation, power transmission, renewables, gas transmission, gas processing, LNG, chemical processing , utilities or associated industries.
• Excellent knowledge including Project Management experience of at least one of the following technologies: GeoSCADA, OSIsoft Pi, Synergi Pipeline Simulator, AlarmPT, Microgrids, Future Fuel and OT Cyber Security
• Knowledge of relevant statutory requirements, Australian and international codes and standards and working knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety legislative requirements.
• Client focused with strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated experience in leading project teams in delivering operational technology projects.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering technology change to existing system using project management tools, lifecycles and methodologies.

As an OT Engineer - Online Simulation, you will be instrumental in supporting and delivering real-time pipeline simulation solutions. This involves leveraging advanced technologies and methodologies to provide accurate current-state assessments and predictive modelling of APA's gas pipelines. Reporting to the OT Engineering Team Lead, Data & Modelling, you will collaborate with operational technology engineers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to optimise pipeline operations, enhance systems, and drive impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver real-time pipeline modelling and simulation solutions.
• Provide operational support, including condition monitoring and fault resolution.
• Collaborate with the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) and Process Engineering teams to address simulator issues.
• Analyse data to provide actionable, data-driven recommendations.
• Support maintenance plans to maximise asset reliability and availability.
• Engage with stakeholders to plan and manage improvement initiatives and operational strategies.
• Drive system improvements and enhance operational reliability through effective problem-solving.

Your background

• Tertiary qualification in, Chemical Engineering Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering who has knowledge of pressure, flow and hydraulics.
• Expertise in oil and gas design codes, Australian Standards, and industry best practices.
• Strong proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., HYSYS, Synergi Pipeline Simulator) and data analytics (e.g., OSI Pi, PowerBI, Python).
• A proven track record in operational support or data-driven modelling.
• Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments.

About the Role 

Reporting to the OT Engineering Manager, you will lead the OT Engineering Data and Modelling team, developing best-practice solutions and service frameworks. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality OT engineering services across platforms and projects. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Build and develop team capabilities to manage Pi Historian and Online Sim modelling applications, and create technology roadmaps to maximize business value and shape OT strategy. 
• Deliver engineering and application services, including technical assessments, estimates, and standards development. 
• Ensure engineering quality through standards, change management, frameworks, and capability development. 
• Manage engineering resource planning, recruitment, and development to meet organizational demand. 

Your Background 

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics, Control Systems, Process, or Chemical Engineering, with experience in power generation, renewables, gas transmission, or similar industries. 
• Proven experience in the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of energy or gas assets. 
• Strong client focus with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience leading project teams in operational technology. 
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors. 
• Strong knowledge of Australian codes and statutory requirements. 
• Chartered or NER engineer registration would be a bonus.

The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Workday Integration Lead to join our Information Technology team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, or Adelaide.

This role will be responsible for leading the Workday integrations support function, with a focus on managing live integrations while designing, configuring, and deploying new integrations between Workday and external systems across the HCM, Financials, and Procurement modules.

Key Responsibilities

•  Lead the design, development, and support of Workday inbound and outbound integrations, including modifications and new integrations.
•  Ensure future integrations align with approved functional and technical requirements.
•  Oversee incident management, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication.
• Perform break/fix support, regression testing, and manage integration monitoring and alerting.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to ensure seamless interface design and maintenance.
• Mentor a Workday Systems Analyst and promote innovation within integration technology.
•  Manage Workday release support and continuously optimise integration processes. 

Your background

•  Strong experience in designing and supporting Workday integrations with downstream systems.
• Hands-on expertise with Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Web Services (SOAP, REST API), and PECI payroll integration (preferably Chris21).
• Strong knowledge of Workday implementation tools, including Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, and iLoad.
• Experience in Cloud Connect, RaaS, BIRT development, and XSLT document transformation.
•  Experience reviewing new Workday releases and optimising existing processes and integrations accordingly.
• Ability to manage integration updates and enhancements while ensuring system stability.
•  Proven ability to collaborate with multiple technical and functional stakeholders across different levels.
