About the role

This hands-on technical role is responsible for ensuring our internal IT systems are reliable, responsive, and aligned with ISO27001:2022 standards. You'll be working across teams, including Service Desk, Service Operations, and Solution Delivery - to coordinate maintenance, improve infrastructure, and ensure seamless IT experiences across the business.

While the role does not have direct reports, it requires strong collaboration, coordination, and influence to drive shared outcomes. You'll also play a key part in proactive maintenance, vendor management, documentation, and IT security compliance.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering secure and stable IT systems through effective maintenance, monitoring, and backups.
• Ensuring compliance with IT security standards, including ISO 27001:2022.
• Acting as an escalation point for internal IT issues, delivering responsive and user-focused support.
• Collaborating with internal teams to support projects, rollouts, and operational changes.
• Maintaining IT documentation, managing renewals, and engaging external vendors effectively.
• Conducting risk assessments, contributing to audit readiness, and driving continuous improvement.

About you

You are a proactive, technically capable systems specialist with a passion for operational excellence and a strong security mindset. You thrive in environments that value structure, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

You'll bring

• 5+ years' experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, endpoint protections, backups, and monitoring tools.
• Working knowledge of IT security principles and frameworks (e.g. ISO27001:2022, Essential Eight).
• Experience in both cloud and on-prem environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based change and problem management practices.

Bonus points for:

• Microsoft 365 and/or Azure Certifications.
• Experience with tools like ConnectWise, SharePoint, Teams, and Power Automate.
• Knowledge of scripting or automation to streamline IT operations.
