BRENDA CONROY FUTURE LEADERS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
An internship aimed to empower women in STEM
Are you a student studying Information Technology at Griffith University, QUT, or UQ?
Applications are now open for the 2026 Brenda Conroy Future Leaders Internship Program—a unique, paid, and immersive four-week experience with Data#3, Cisco, and Women in Digital (WID).
About the Program
Developed in partnership with Cisco and Women in Digital (WiD), this program honours the legacy of Brenda Conroy, who dedicated over 35 years to Data#3. Brenda’s career—spanning logistics, sales, and customer support—was defined by her passion, excellence, and commitment to empowering others.
The internship continues her legacy by supporting IT students to gain industry insight, build skills, and explore diverse career pathways in technology.

Program Details
- Duration: 4 weeks, Monday–Thursday, from 27 January to 20 February 2026
- Locations: Data#3 (Toowong & Darra) and Cisco (Brisbane City)
- Format: Rotational placement across each organisation, including specialty days and exclusive networking events
- Hours: Up to 32 hours per week
- Flexibility: We understand university commitments and will work with you to accommodate academic requirements.
About You
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a student in the final two years of an undergraduate IT degree at Griffith, QUT, or UQ
- Be available for the full four-week program (Monday–Thursday)
- Have access to transportation between Toowong and Brisbane City.
