The opportunity:
As part of our Graduate Engineering (Electrical) Program, you will be working in an exciting era of energy projects and transformation whilst helping to shape a cleaner energy future in Queensland.
Commencing January 2026, our Graduate Engineering (Electrical) Program will provide you with learning opportunities that are unique to Powerlink and the Energy Sector, working across Design, Systems, Field and Delivery rotations across 3 years before being fully integrated into a team that you love.
Our programs provide an exciting mix of on-the-job technical learning and professional development.
What we offer
Our Graduate Engineering salaries start at $122,016 + 14.75% Super for a 9-day fortnight. On occasion, some Graduates may work a 10-day fortnight and can expect a starting base salary of $149,131 + 14.75% Super.

What you'll bring:
The program is open to students in their final year or those who have recently completed their qualifications in various fields of engineering. Specifically, it includes:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Telecommunications
- Dual Bachelor of Engineering and Business, Science, IT, Computer Science, or Data Science
