RSL Queensland’s Growth & Transformation Department, made up of diverse teams that are harnessing technology and data to reshape customer experiences, explores new revenue opportunities and develops innovative lottery products.
As the department embarks on a significant business transformation journey as part of our Lotteries 2030 Strategy with the delivery of the Lotteries Digital Blueprint (LDB) project which aims to improve and modernise our Art Union’s digital customer experience, it is on the hunt for a star BA for its TMO.
About the role:
Reporting to the Project Manager-Marketing Transformation, the role:
- supports the Business Analysis Function within the Project as part of the LDB project to contemporise our lottery’s digital customer experience
- translates and documents business/customer requirements to assist in the development of recommended solutions (include current and future state processes)
- conducts/supports workshops, eliciting and documenting business requirements, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, developing process and system documentation
- owns BA planning and supporting business process change with the transition to SaaS Marketing Automation and Analytics products
- provides general support to the Project Manager in the development of project documentation
About you:
- tertiary qualifications in business administration, technology-related or data management field and/or Business Analysis qualification (e.g. BABOK, BPMN 2.0).
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in agile environments
- demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops effectively to elicit requirements and develop and implement new processes.
- understanding of technical concepts and terminologies and can express these in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- next-level interpersonal skills to work across different teams with competing interests and priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- experience with collaboration tools such as Azure Dev Ops (or Jira), Miro, Figma, Confluence, O365 suite including SharePoint and Visio.
Working knowledge of BPMN 2.0 and experience working or lotteries industry or similar will make your application even more competitive.
